Quantum Technologies and iAire are working with a global manufacturer to reduce their HVAC Energy costs by 35%. This customer owns a 20+ million square foot facility in South Carolina and have integrated an  iAire Solar HVAC system with their existing installed equipment, one of their Commercial Rooftop Units.

Performance is monitored while simultaneously montoring an identical unit without the Solar HVAC modification. This will give the client a real-time side-by-side comparison of the potential delivered by Solar HVAC in their air conditioning plant.

Solar HVAC Certification

iAire Solar HVAC solar collectors are certified to be more than 65 percent effective per OG-100 to the Solar certification on standatd ICC901/SRCC100. The OG-100 certification will qualify this customer (In the USA) for both Federal and State solar rebates, incentives, and tax credits. Once this unit has been fully retrofitted, the payback is projected to be 2.81 years. This payback is calculated using those rebates, incentives and credits in conjunction with an estimated solar collector effectiveness of only 35 percent.
